Configuring Port Parameters
To configure the parameter settings for a port on the switch, perform the
following procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 1 to select Ports Menu.
2. From the Ports Menu, type M if you wish to select a module other than
the one currently displayed.
The prompt message is displayed:
Select Module ID: [1 to 8] ->
3. Enter the ID of the module you wish to select, and press the Enter key.
4. From the Ports Menu, type 1 to select Port Configuration.
The following prompt is displayed:
Start Port to configure [1 - 24] ->
5. Enter the number of the port you wish to configure and press the
Enter key. To configure a range of ports, enter the first port of the
range.
The following prompt is displayed:
End Port to configure [1 - 24] ->
6. To configure only one port, enter the same port number here as you
entered in Step 3 and press the Enter key. To configure a range of
ports, enter the last port number in the range.
The Port Configuration menu in Figure 16 is displayed.
