This manual is written for system administrators who are responsible for

conﬁguring, monitoring, and maintaining a Local Area Network (LAN) of

which Allied Telesyn’s AT-MR912TX hubs are components.

The contents of each chapter are described below:

❑ Chapter 1, “Product Description,” gives an overview of the features,

package contents, connections and LED Status Indicators of the

Standalone/Stackable AT-MR912TX hub.

❑ Chapter 2, “Installation,” describes site and power requirements, as

well as conventional installation procedures and network connectivity.

❑ Chapter 3, “Troubleshooting,” discusses testing, valid connectivity,

and problem identification and resolution.

❑ Appendix A, “Technical Specifications,” includes information specific

to AT-MR912TX hubs.

❑ Appendix B, “Glossary,” provides a glossary of terms that are both

product and industry specific.

❑ Appendix C is a “Technical Support Fax Order.”

❑ Appendix D, “AT-MR912TX Hub Manual Feedback Form,” offers a

means to transmit your comments and/or suggestions for improving

the documentation.

❑ Appendix E, “Where to Find Us,” provides Technical Support and

Service information.

❑ Appendix F, “Index,” is just that.
