Installing the Switch on the Desktop

1. Place the switch on a level, secure surface.

2. Apply power to the switch as follows:

Caution

The power cord is used as a disconnect device. To de-energize

equipment, disconnect the power cord.

Attach the power cord to the unit and plug it in the wall outlet.

Verify that the Power LED lights green. See Table 2-1 on 2-6.

As power is applied to the switch, the Fault LED flashes as the switch

runs through its internal self-testing programs.
