issue affects management traffic only and does not affect the switching or the routing

functions of a stack.

 Enhanced Stacking Through the Web Browser Windows. The enhanced stacking feature is

not supported through the web browser windows on the AT-9424Ts, AT-9424Ts/XP, and

AT-9448Ts/XP Switches, but is supported through the standard command line interface and

the menus. (5871, 6467)

 802.1x Control Direction parameter. The Control Direction parameter for 802.1x authenticator

ports has an Ingress option for forwarding egress broadcast and multicast traffic when the

ports are in the unauthorized state. This option is nonfunctional and instead blocks these

packets. (5487)

Version 4.1.0 Resolved Issues

The following issues were resolved in Version 4.1.0 of the AT-S63 Management Software:

 System Name: The switch reset if you tried to assign it a name that was longer than the

maximum of 39 characters. The switch now displays an error message.

 Maximum Number of Manager Sessions: The switch permitted more than one manager

session when the maximum number of sessions was set to 1. This issue has been resolved.

 Web Management Sessions: Web browser management sessions periodically caused the

switch to reset. This issue has been resolved.

 ARP Table: Some routed packets were discarded because the management software was

not properly maintaining the ARP table. This issue has been resolved.

 Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Quality of Service (QoS) Policies:

— ACLs and QoS policies could not be applied to the XFP ports 25 and 26 on the

AT-9424Ts/XP Switch. This issue has been resolved.

— ACLs and QoS policies that were assigned to ports on the master switch of a stack were

also applied by the management software to the stacking ports on the AT-StackXG

Module. This issue has been resolved.

 Default Route. If the path of the default route on an AT-9400Ts Stack was changed, the nodes

connected to a stack would lose connectivity to the remote destinations of the route until they

issued a new ARP. This issue has been resolved.

 SNTP Settings. The switch did not retain the SNTP settings. This issue has been resolved.

 Web browsers. For remote web browser management, Allied Telesis recommends that you

use one of the web browser applications listed here:

— Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5, 6, or 7

— Mozilla Firefox version 3.0.1

Results using other versions of these web browsers or other web browser applications may

vary. This operational note applies to all versions of the AT-S63 Management Software.
